Having tried many times to contact Toluna with out a single reply I have decided to warn others of Toluna's methods in the hope that others will not come to grief as I have.
Having spent a year completing surveys I had managed to earn over 60,000 points. This entitled me to a fifteen euro reward voucher. ( I live in Ireland by the way).This I ordered the 22nd of April 2010. When it hadn't arrived I used the "Contact Us" format on the Toluna main page. Despite several attempts no one has bothered to come back to me. I then trawled the web only to find large forums devoted to Toluna. All discussions were about vouchers not received despite many attempts to find out when these vouchers would arrive.
It appears, as is my own experience, that Toluna has very little respect for it survey users, and makes very little or no effort to communicate with them, or indeed keep its promises.
Since this appears to be the case, i have contacted the BBC's Watchdog about the situation, and am also in the process of contacting all of its affiliates, to make them aware of the situation as well. These include some very large companies such as Halfords.
Please be aware that completing Toluna surveys does not mean that you will be rewarded, or that you will receive any response to your queries.
If you have experienced similar problems to mine please let me know. Together we can pursue Toluna through the small claims court and at the very least, receive the rewards we are entitled to.
